Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Kim received her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering Science specializing in Environmental Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada. She then went on to complete her Master of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto. After working as an engineer for a while, she moved to New York and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University. Dr. Kim received her two year training as a specialist in pediatric dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has been involved with various research projects both in subjects of engineering and dentistry, and have published numerous articles/papers and presented at national conferences. Dr. Kim believes that “old habits die hard.” Her primary goals as a pediatric dentist are to cultivate good oral habits and to provide high quality dental care in a fun, happy environment. Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. In her leisure time, Dr. Kim enjoys snowboarding, watching movies and cuddling with her 13 year old cat, Jay.
